How does pricing work?

Every item in the store is at most $5, We start at $5 (restock days: Saturday and Sunday), then the next day is $3 (Monday), the day after that is $2 (Tuesday), then $1 (Wednesday and Thursday), and the last day is $.25 (Friday). After quarter day we take all the old stuff out, bring in a new load and go back to $5. This cycle repeats every week. Visit our how it works page for more information.

What is a Early Shopper Passport / Golden Ticket?

An Early Shopper Passport is your way of skipping the line on a Restock Day and getting into the store for a private shopping experience. These ticket holders (up to 3 at a time) will be allowed to enter the store 15 mins before we open for shopping. To use your ticket you must register it on our ticket website. They are non-transferable, register quickly because we only have a limited number of slots available per Restock.

A Golden Ticket is your way of skipping the line on a Restock Day. To use it you must register your Golden Ticket on our ticket website. They are non-transferable, register quickly because we only have a limited number of slots available per Restock.

What payments do you accept?

We take cash, plus all major credit/debit cards ($10 minimum purchase).
We do not accept checks.

Once I get my line spot ticket can I leave?

No! You may only go to your car to put away items like folding chairs, bags, etc. If you leave the parking lot you are forfeiting your spot in line.

What is the Early Shopper Passport / Golden Ticket and what happens if I win one?

Early Shopper Passport: You can skip the line for any Restock and get into the store 15 mins before we open as a bonus. You first need to pick up your Early Shopper Passport at one of our locations, go to the website and redeem the code on the back to reserve a randomly generated spot for the date you wish to attend. There will only be 3 spots available to redeem and are only good for Restock Days!

What about Children? Can I still carry them if they are not tall enough? I'm an adult under 5 foot are you going to tell me I can't come in?

No children under the height of 5 feet, no strollers, and no carriers between the hours of 8 am – 10 am, This rule is for their safety, there will be 200+ people in this building it is not an environment suited for them. If you are an adult (that means you are not a child) under the height of 5 feet you will still be permitted to enter.

If there are no returns, refunds, or exchanges how do I know my item works?

We get our stock from returns, refurbished, and out of season items. There is a chance it may not work or it can be an easy fix if you are handy.  There are plug testing stations in the stores, if you need batteries ask an associate they may have some at the register. If it is anything else it’s a $5 gamble.

Do you have a customer loyalty program?

Yes! We have a customer loyalty program through a service called AppCard. For more information, please visit our loyalty program page.

How often do you restock?

Every Saturday and Sunday.
Restock calendars are also posted on our homepage and Facebook.

What types of products do you sell?

You just never know! And neither do we. That’s a big part of the excitement that keeps people coming back week after week. We can tell you that most of what we offer is new – usually overstock, out of season, or return merchandise from big-name retailers. Our clothing-only stores feature clothing for men, women, children, and even pets in all sizes.

What is your return/exchange policy?

Everything is sold as-is. Sorry, but we cannot accept returns, refunds, or exchanges. We highly encourage our customers to test their items before they purchase them.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, but for safety reasons we do not allow strollers and children under the height of 5 feet into the store between the hours of 8 am – 10 am on Restock Days. This time period may be shortened or lengthened at the sole discretion of our management team based on the number of customers in the store and what is deemed safe for children.

What time can we start lining up?

Whenever you like, we only ask if you come to hangout overnight that you do not camp; folding chairs are fine. Do not use the restroom in public (you can be arrested for public indecency), PLEASE be aware of your surroundings and come in groups because your life is worth more than a good deal.

When will someone hand out tickets?

Times will vary, you must be in line at the time the tickets are handed out, do not go to the person handing out tickets they will come to you. One ticket per person, no spot holding, if you are out of line at the time the tickets were handed out you must go to the end of the line.

How long are you going without tickets?

Indefinitely. Gimme A $5 is not an exclusive club we are better prepared and want to go back to our original concept for opening… give opportunity to our customers to find something amazing that they may not have had access to because of price.

Can we bring our own bags?

We no longer allow customers to bring personal bags to shop, we now provide bags for each customer on Restock Days only. Customers must remain with their bags at all times, no excuses.

Any other priced day you can bring any size bag or cart as long as it is stored against the wall (not in isles). It is up to you to keep an eye on your things employees will not watch them. There is not a time limit to shop, we only ask that if you have a full bag or cart to remember there are people outside waiting to come in.

No backpacks of any kind are permitted in our stores and any bag brought in is subject to search.

If I can't open a box how will I know what's inside?

Employees may open boxes for you, this is to ensure the items within the box are not lost if you decide not to purchase and place it back into a bin. Also if a box contains multiple items you won’t be charged separately for each item (employees will tape the box back).
